Anapauo is a Greek word for "rest". Anapauo House is situated in Coleman, Alberta, Canada, part of the scenic and historical Crowsnest Pass, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
We desire to use this home to be a benefit to missionaries home on furlough and to full time Christian workers, to provide them an opportunity to refresh themselves before returning to their ministry, commitments and demands. Anapauo House is a ministry extension of Coleman Christian Assembly, therefore we offer the use of the house free of charge.
We welcome people staying at Anapauo House to fellowship with us at Coleman Christian Assembly, although there are other evangelical churches in the area you may wish to attend.
This is a spacious, private home that is fully furnished. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, sun room, one full bathroom, two main floor bedrooms with queen beds and two upstairs bedrooms with single beds, along with laundry facilities in the basement.
Welcome! And thank you for your interest in Anapauo House! Please read ALL requirements thoroughly before filling out the application. Thank you in advance.
Requirements: 1. Guests are expected to provide their own food. Linens, bedding, and general cleaning items are provided. You may bring your own bedding and towels to save on clean up time if you wish - see #4. 2. We prefer a minimum stay of 2 nights. The maximum length of stay will depend on the individual requirements and/or other bookings. 3. Reservations are generally accepted on a "first come first serve" basis, and no more than 8 months in advance. Due to increased demand in the summer months, we may choose to use an "every second year only" booking rule, as to allow a variety of guests the ability to access the house. 4. Guests are expected to leave the house fully cleaned after your stay and ready for the next guests. (The expectation is to leave the house as clean as when you arrived.) Linens and towels are to be washed and dried and beds remade prior to your departure. 5. Please be aware, this is a low-tech home. There is a TV with a DVD/VHS/CD player along with a Wii, but there is no WIFI or cable television at the house. This house is still in cellular range, so you still have access to make calls/texts from your personal phone. 6. While not expected, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated to continue this ministry. Anyone wishing to make a donation will be receipted for income tax purposes. Donation cheques can be made out to Coleman Christian Assembly and mailed directly to the church or left at the house. 7. Please respect those with allergies and make alternate arrangements for pet care in lieu of bringing your pets along with you. 8. Regrettably, the house is not wheelchair accessible. 9. Please refer to the calendar below to see if the dates you are requesting are already spoken for. This will make booking a lot smoother if you would take the time to find dates that are appropriate for your desired length of stay. 10. Upon application, you may be asked to provide us with a Statement of Faith or similar from your church or organization, at our discretion.
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS NEVER SHARED WITH OTHERS NOR USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN YOUR BOOKING
Disclaimer: Coleman Christian Assembly shall not be liable for any property damage, loss or personal injury arising out of occupancy of the facility. Should any such liability occur, the undersigned will indemnify Coleman Christian Assembly. If application form is submitted electronically, this implies your consent to the above waiver and rules. We may also request your signature upon arrival.
Below is our availability calendar. You will be able to see when a guest arrives (HELLO), how long they stay (BOOKED), and the day they leave (GOODBYE). Take note that the calendar begins on Monday. Please review the calendar for your anticipated dates before submitting you application.
